MECHANICS:
ONLINE COMPETITION CATEGORY The contest is open to all accredited schools and will have three (3) categories – Elementary, High School and all CHED accredited Colleges (proof of enrolment for SY 2013-2014 for Elementary and High School and 1st to 2nd Semester SY 2013-2014 for College is required) A group with a minimum of 12 to a maximum of 16 members should perform. Additional members for substitutes (minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4) should be registered as well. Group members in the video should be the one to perform at the Regional Auditions. In case the original members can’t perform, the registered substitutes can take their place. The members of the group may be made up of all males or females or a combination of males and females. Aged between 10 – 24 years old, male and / or female. The representing group must be accredited by the school’s appropriate accrediting body (i.e. Office of Student Affairs). A student can only join one group. All participating group must submit a video of their entries through the official contest – www.smartjumpin.com Deadline of submission of entries is until August 12, 2014. 11:59pm MUSIC TO BE USED Any music of the group’s choice can be used for their online audition video. Music can be mashed up with other songs depending on the group’s discretion. Each group will submit a dance video not exceeding 2 minutes with any song of their choice. ATTIRE AND PROPS Groups should wear clothing reflecting the character and style of the performance. This may include accessories such as hats, caps, gloves, scarves, jewelry and other forms of theatrical dress. Taking off pieces of clothing during the performance is permitted provided it is not offensive or out of character. Props may be allowed in the online performance. In the event shoes or clothing worn bear prominent logos, participants must cover these. No logo of any other company must be seen in the video. I. The first stage of the Dance contest will be ONLINE AUDITIONS: This promo is open to all Smart subscribers. Promo period starts June 24 - October 5, 2014. Registered groups may start sending their entries by June 24, 2014. Register here. Create your entry by entering Category (Elementary, High School or College) School Name and Address Group Name Names of Members (First Name, Last Name 12-16 fields for members plus 2-4 substitutes) Contact Details Email address JUMP IN/ Smart number Upload video at www.smartjumpin.com of file type .mp4 , .flv, .mov or .avi with a maximum limit of 200MB. File name should be (Smart_Jump In_School_Group) After a successful upload, each dance crew will be assigned a 4-5 letter code which is system generated. This code will be sent to Smart Marketing for coding under Smart Poll. |
